The ED3 Ultrasonic Endo Tip from DTE has a conical tip with blunt end, designed for heating and working gutta-percha material in the upper section of the canal. Recommended for use at Low to Medium power, with no water output / irrigation. (It is recommended to turn water supply off for use with the ED3).
It is recommended to immerse the tip in eugenol before inserting into the canal. Press the instrument gently against the gutta-percha cone, and activate ultrasonic to condense the material and fill the canal.
The DTE ED3 is compatible with DTE and Satelec Ultrasonic Handpieces.
