The DTE ED12D Ultrasonic Tip has a 0.9mm ball type end which is has a 90µm diamond grit coating to be used with low-high power mode for removing calcification and bad filling material within the pulp cavity to expose the root canal orifice. Irrigation should be set to medium-high to avoid overheating and provide a clear working path for the ultrasonic tip.
The tip can be autoclaved to 134°c for sterilisation. Discard tip once worn or showing any signs of wear / defects.
The DTE tips can be used with DTE ultrasonic handpieces, and is compatible with Satelec and NSK scalers. (Not compatible with all Varios range).
