The E3D ultrasonic tip from Woodpecker compatible for use with Woodpecker and EMS Ultrasonic Scalers. The E3D has a 40µm diamond coated tip, designed for enlarging the root canal during RCT treatments and for accessing broken instruments in the canal. (The endo tip should not touch the foreign object being retrieved and should be used to work around the object). The tip may be used as a preliminary step during file retrieval. The E3D angled tip has a 12mm section of Diamond grit coating, with conical tip down to 0.7mm end.
The diamond end can be used to remove calcification and poor filling in the cavity and to remove the pulp chamber overhang.
The tip can be sterilised for re-use, with recommendation it be washed to remove any residues before processing for sterilisation. Sterilisation can be completed with a 5-20 minute cycle up to 134°c. Do not leave the tip emersed for long periods of time or remaining wet as this may cause damage. Do not use corrosive cleaning substances on the tip.
